Description
This auction is being held as a fundraiser for the nationally ranked Virginia Tech softball team.
Auction Terms & Conditions This auction is being held as a fundraiser for the nationally ranked Virginia Tech softball team. It is our intention that all proceeds from the auction go to benefit the team, so we ask for your generosity as you bid and your patience as the auction is being executed 100% by volunteers. There will be no sales tax collected on the items and Mountain City Auction has graciously provided this platform for us to execute the auction. Potential buyers can inspect the auction items during a preview before the Georgia Tech games on Saturday, April 17th as well as between games of the doubleheader that day. The auction will begin to close on Thursday evening, April 22nd at 7:00 pm. The auction has a "soft close," which means that as long as someone is bidding (much like a live auction) the bidding will continue until the last bidder is standing. That means the action can go well past the 7PM closing time. Items will be available for pickup prior to the Notre Dame doubleheader on Saturday, April 24th (as well as between games). The preferred payment method is cash and/or checks made to "Virginia Tech Softball." However credit cards, PayPal, and Venmo can be accepted by simply contacting us. There will be a 4% charge on credit cards to cover the bank fees. Shipping can also be arranged at the buyer's expense. Based on conversations with the Post Office, it appears that most of the items in tis auction can be shipped for $12.00 or less, but there may be exceptions for larger items. Again, simply reach out and we'll work with you. Chip Grubb is our main point of contact and he can be reached at 540-797-8155 or at Hokiechip@aol.com Thank you for participating in our auction.
