Oakridge is excited to announce its latest auction: a Fine Asian Art & Antiques sale packed with an array of impressive lots of Asian art from throughout history. Scheduled for September 18-20, 2021, this auction will feature over 600 lots separated into three sessions: Session 1 - Ceramics and Works of Art beginning at 9 am EDT on September 18th, Session 2 - Paintings and Calligraphy beginning at 10 am EDT on September 19th, and Sessions 3 - Snuff Bottles beginning at 10 am EDT on September 20th. We close out our auction with our yearly sale of snuff bottles. Session 3 is filled with over 130 rare snuff bottles of all types, shapes, and sizes. The rarest among these is Lot 642, a white jade snuff bottle with a coral stopper. Many other snuff bottles are similarly notable, including a white jade snuff bottle with silver inlay dating from the 18th century, a famille rose porcelain snuff bottle dating from the Daoguang period, and a jade snuff bottle that has been carved with a sacred image of the Buddha and which dates to the 19th century.
